Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Velmio ("we" or "us") and cover your use of this website, the studio, and any paid plan. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Who can use Velmio

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and able to enter into this agreement. If you use Velmio for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it.

Your account

Signing up is free and doesn't require payment details. Give accurate information, keep your password and access to your email address secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.

The service

The studio lets you add photos and a logo, shape a script, choose a format, and make a promotional video in your browser. We may add, change, or remove features and may suspend the service for maintenance or other reasons. Some features described on this site, including AI-written scripts and studio voiceovers, may not be available in the studio at the time you use it. What you can do at any time is what the studio shows.

Examples marked Mockup on this site are made with stock photos to show style. Your results depend on the photos and details you provide.

The chat assistant

The chat assistant on this site is automated and can make mistakes. Its answers are general information and don't change these terms. If the assistant says something different from these terms, the Privacy Policy, or the price shown before you buy, those take priority.

Your photos and content

You keep ownership of your photos, logos, scripts, and other materials. You confirm that you own them or have every permission needed to use them, including permission from any person, brand, or property shown. You are responsible for your materials and for what your videos say, including any claim about your business. AI-written scripts and voiceovers can contain mistakes, so review them before you publish.

The videos you make

You own the videos you make and may use them to promote your business, including in paid advertising, subject to the rules of each platform where you post them.

Prices and payment

You pay only if you choose a paid plan. The price and what the plan includes are shown before you buy. Prices may not include taxes, which are added where required. We may change prices for future purchases and will tell you before a change affects a renewal.

Monthly plans and cancellation

A monthly plan renews automatically each month and is charged to your payment method until you cancel. You can cancel at any time. Your plan then ends at the next renewal date, you keep access until that date, and you won't be charged again.

Refunds

A video is delivered when it is made available for you to preview or download. Single videos and monthly plan payments cannot be refunded once delivered, except where the law requires a refund. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived where you live.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Velmio to make content that is unlawful, misleading, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's rights. You also agree not to interfere with the service, attempt to access it without permission, submit false or automated information, or copy or resell the service.

Our site and brand

The Velmio name, logo, site design, software, and text belong to Velmio or its licensors. These terms don't give you any right to use them except to use the service.

Other services

The service works with products from other companies, such as social media platforms, sign-in providers, and payment providers. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for them.

No guaranteed results

We don't promise any particular marketing result, number of customers, sales, or advertising performance.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we don't promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Velmio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.

Suspending or ending access

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we need to in order to protect the service or other people.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Velmio is established. This doesn't take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the place where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our service changes. We will change the date at the top of this page when we do. If you keep using the service after a change, the updated terms apply.
